Na mijn opleiding als anesthesioloog met aandachtsgebied pijnspecialist ben ik sinds 2016 werkzaam geweest in het Alrijne Ziekenhuis als stafanesthesioloog en pijnspecialist. Naast mijn medische werkzaamheden ben ik ook actief geweest in de organisatie en heb ik verschillende andere functies gehad, zoals opleider Anesthesiologie en Pijnbestrijding en voorzitter van het Pijnbehandelcentrum en de werkgroep Neuromodulatie. Ik ben gepromoveerd op het onderwerp “Therapeutic Strategies for the Protection of Renal Oxygenation in Experimental Models of Acute Kidney” aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. Verder ben ik FIPP- en CIPS-gecertificeerd, wat als een internationaal erkend bewijs wordt gezien van gevorderde kennis en technische expertise op het gebied van interventionele pijnbestrijding.
