Heide was educated at Erasmus University. He obtained his PhD thesis on a subject in paediatric dermatology. He has a special interest in skin cancer, skin surgery , phlebology and paediatric dermatology. Heide was, among other things, chair of the department and co-founder of Skin Hospital Dermicis dept. Alkmaar. The past two years he worked in the BovenIJ Hospital in Amsterdam. Acibadem is known as a high-end clinic where care is tailor-made and centred around the patient. Heide shares these principles wholeheartedly. He joined the staff of Acibadem with the assignment to roll out dermatology within Acibadem.
