After obtaining her MD title, dr. Middelkamp Hup performed research at the Harvard University in Boston, U.S.A. This research became the basis of her PhD thesis, which she obtained in 2007, while doing her dermatology training in the AMC. Since 2008 she has been working as a dermatologist and staff member at the AMC, with pediatric dermatology as her focus area. She has a passion for her profession and enjoys the contact with the patients. Good communication and a clear explanation to patients are very important to her. Her goal is to give each patient personal attention and to involve the patient in the decision making process, in order to obtain an appropriate treatment for each patient.
