Drs. I. (Ivo) ten Hove graduated as a dentist at the Academic Center for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA) in 1998. The study of medicine was followed at the Free University in Amsterdam and the medical exam was taken in 2006. From 2001-2005 he was trained to specialist Oral Diseases, Oral and Facial Surgery (MKA) at the VU Medical Center, Amsterdam (Trainer: Prof. Dr. I. van der Waal). His peripheral training as a dental surgeon took place in Alkmaar followed by an internship in facial traumatology in Newcastle, England. After the specialization of dental surgeon, a two-year fellowship Head-Neck Surgery was taken at the Erasmus MC in Rotterdam (2011 and 2012). From 2007 to 2018 he was attached to MC Slotervaart in Amsterdam. Since 2009 he also works at the Erasmus MC in Rotterdam.
