I try to take a broad approach in my communication with patients. Listening carefully and taking the time for a patient is important to me. In addition, I try to give a good explanation, so that the patient understands what is going on and we can draw up a treatment plan together. I also pay a lot of attention to lifestyle. I was born in Alphen aan den Rijn, but have lived in the Amsterdam region for most of my life. In 2019 I completed the training as an internist-nephrologist at the Amsterdam UMC. After that I worked at Dianet in the hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis department and in the kidney diseases and geriatric medicine departments of the Amsterdam UMC. Since May 2022 I am also registered as an internist-geriatric medicine.
