After growing up in Amstelveen, I started studying medicine at the University of Amsterdam in 2003. This is where my interest in Radiology originated. During my internships and my year as a neurology and neurosurgery physician assistant, it became increasingly clear that knowing the anatomy of the human body and making the right diagnosis in a patient intrigued me the most. After my training as a general radiologist, I worked at the Leiden University Medical Center and the Haga Hospital where I further specialized in musculoskeletal radiology, which literally means “muscle and bone radiology”. Since 1 August 2019 I have been working at the Acibadem IMC and I can contribute to the high-quality care that is provided here. The speed with which a patient can be helped, the involvement of the medical staff, the modern equipped treatment rooms in this beautiful building, make this new medical center a very nice place for me to work.
