As a passionate sports and exercise enthusiast, choosing orthopaedics as my medical specialty came naturally. I find it extremely rewarding to help people regain mobility and restore function by ensuring that everything in the musculoskeletal system works together as effectively as possible. My areas of expertise within orthopaedics are the knee, hip, and elbow. I frequently treat patients with osteoarthritis and joint degeneration, for whom a knee or hip replacement may provide significant improvement. I also regularly see younger patients with hip complaints and labral injuries, where physiotherapy can sometimes be combined with hip arthroscopy. In addition, I treat patients who continue to experience symptoms after knee replacement surgery. In these cases, I perform an extensive analysis to identify the cause of the complaints and explore possible additional treatment options.

Research
I am currently involved in research on the latest generation of knee prostheses, which shows promising results. The aim is to improve knee function and overall outcomes, potentially allowing patients to bend their knee more easily and walk with greater stability. Through this type of research, we hope to further improve patient care in the near future.

Clear Communication
I believe it is important that patients fully understand their condition and the proposed treatment plan. I prefer to spend extra time explaining things thoroughly to ensure that patients do not leave with unanswered questions. During arthroscopic procedures, I often allow patients to watch the procedure on a screen so they can better understand what is happening. Experience also shows that rehabilitation tends to progress more successfully when patients understand their condition and treatment.
