In 2011, I graduated in Medicine from the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Following this, I began my PhD research project, Functional Difficulties in Craniofacial Microsomia, which I completed in 2019. During this period, I also started studying Dentistry at the Radboud University in Nijmegen.
After completing my dentistry degree, I trained as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at the Erasmus MC in Rotterdam under the supervision of Prof. Dr. E.B. Wolvius. The peripheral part of my training was completed at the Elisabeth-TweeSteden Hospital in Tilburg.
Subsequently, I further specialized in craniofacial conditions through a fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. Since 2022, I have been working as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in the Rotterdam region.
