I studied medicine at VU University Amsterdam. During my studies I did research at the department of plastic surgery at the VU Universaty and later in New York, USA at the New York University School of Medicine. I did my training as a plastic surgeon in Germany. I have been a plastic surgeon since 2016. Since then I have worked in various departments in Germany ( Schwäbisch Hall ) and the Netherlands ( St. Antonius hospital Nieuwegein, Gelre hospital Apeldoorn ). Because of my interest in reconstructive microsurgery, I started a fellowship in reconstructive breast surgery at the St. Antonius hospital Nieuwegein. In Nieuwegein I gained experience in oncoplastic breast surgery, with the focus on autologous breast reconstructions. Next to Acibadem, I work as a reconstructive plastic surgeon in the RKZ Beverwijk. It is important to me to give patients personal attention, to treat them with respect and to use my knowledge and expertise to the maximum.
