Ahmet Kinaci was born and raised in Amsterdam. After studying Economics and Law for one year at the University of Amsterdam, he decided to pursue Medicine at the same university. He completed both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Medicine cum laude. During his Master’s program, he conducted research for one year at Massachusetts General Hospital, affiliated with Harvard Medical School in Boston. He subsequently successfully completed his PhD at Utrecht University.
Immediately afterward, he started his residency in Ophthalmology at Oogziekenhuis Rotterdam. After completing his training, he continued with a fellowship at the same hospital, further specializing in oculoplastic, lacrimal (tear duct), and orbital surgery. In addition to his work at Acibadem ICM, he treats patients who wish to reduce or eliminate their dependence on glasses at Visus Oogkliniek.
